PASADENA : Legal Help Sought by AIDS Service Center

Lawyers and law students are being asked by the AIDS Service Center of Pasadena to help people with AIDS straighten out their legal affairs.

Attorneys are being asked to volunteer such services as drafting of wills, direction on creditor and landlord disputes, and discrimination counseling.

Of the people who go to the center’s legal department for help, 75% are on disability and receive less than a $1,000 a month, said Roger Tansey, director of legal services for the center.
