The Master’s Wins, Gains Quarterfinals

TULSA — Mike Penberthy made six three-point shots and scored 25 points to lead The Master’s of Santa Clarita to an 88-75 victory over Central Washington in the NAIA tournament Thursday.
The Mustangs (31-4) made eight of their first nine shots in the second half to lead, 55-39.
Ryan Pepper and Leon Johnson led the Wildcats (20-14) with 27 and 25 points, respectively.
Doug Leaman scored 20 for the Mustangs, who play Belmont in the quarterfinals tonight.
