Veteran actor-producer-writer Sheldon Leonard has penned his autobiography And the Show Goes On: Broadway and Hollywood Adventures (Limelight Editions, $25). His memoirs explore his early career as an actor, as well as his experiences as director-producer of such series as “The Dick Van Dyke Show,” “Make Room for Daddy,” “Lassie,” “The Andy Griffth Show” and “I Spy.”

Nick at Nite Time: Classic TV Collectible Wristwatches (Sunday at 11 p.m.; Monday at 10 p.m.; Wednesday at 2:30 a.m.; Friday at 2:30 a.m. and Saturday at midnight on Nickelodeon) is Nick’s latest home-shopping special, this one hawking nostalgia with today’s time of day. An American in Pasadena (Friday at 10 p.m.), a 1978 CBS special taped at Pasadena’s Ambassador Auditorium featuring the movies’ star hoofer performing with the leading ladies he worked with over the years: Gloria DeHaven, Cyd Charisse, Betty Garrett, Kathryn Grayson, Janet Leigh and Lucille Ball.

A pre-”Cheers” Ted Danson guests on Taxi (Friday at 10:30 p.m. on Nickelodeon) in an episode in which Elaine has a very bad hair day.
