Deal of the Week
Here’s a deal for Mouseketeers who can plan ahead. The 1,334-room Omni Rosen Hotel is scheduled to open Nov. 1 in Orlando in a 20-acre complex on International Drive, seven miles from Disney World. The hotel has set aside a limited number of rooms for guests who can make early-bird reservations by April 30 for stays Nov. 1, 1995-Jan. 15, 1996. The rate is $49 a night, single or double occupancy (up to two children 17 and under stay free in an adult’s room). After Jan. 15, doubles will start at $165, a spokeswoman said. The offer is based on availability, which is limited, and includes parking, but not taxes. There are no blackout dates and there is no minimum stay. For reservations, telephone (800) THE OMNI.

Two new destinations--Denmark and France--have been added to the University of New Hampshire’s Familyhostel 1995 programs, which are described in its new summer brochure. Now in its fourth year, Familyhostel is modeled after the university’s Interhostel program for adults. Most programs are 10 days long and each combines presentations, field trips, sightseeing, and social and cultural activities for families.
