Idah W. Iliff, a former Ventura city councilwoman, has died. She was 86.
She served on the Ventura City Council from 1949 through 1961 and lived in the city for 55 years. She was a high school teacher.
She was a native of Scotts, Mich., and a graduate of Western Michigan College.
She is survived by a sister, Dorothy Clark of Seminole, Fla. Her husband, James, died four years ago.
Services are being handled by the Charles Carroll Funeral Home in Ventura.
