Police Seeking Driver in Fatal Car Crash
TUSTIN — The passenger of a car that crashed into a light pole died Tuesday, and police were still seeking the driver who fled after the collision Sunday.
The victim, who survived on life support for two days, was identified by police as Isael Salguero, 22, of Placentia.
The 1983 Nissan Maxima crashed into a light pole Sunday in the 1600 block of Nisson Road, police said. When police arrived they found Salguero inside with massive head injuries, but the driver had fled, Police Sgt. William Fisher said.
Police on Tuesday said they were seeking the car’s registered owner, identified as Ery Aroldo Agosto Perez, 24, whose last known address was in Placentia.
