NEWBURY PARK : Reward Offered for Vandalism to Cars
Ventura County Crime Stoppers has offered a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the culprits who shot the windows out of 30 parked cars in Newbury Park last month.
An old, two-door, gray Toyota Celica with four people inside was seen speeding through the area on the night of Feb. 4, and authorities suspect they may have fired a BB or pellet gun at the cars.
The cars were all parked on the street or in driveways along Jenny Drive, Donald Avenue, Mayfield Street, Kimber Drive, Lodgewood Street, Walter Avenue, Hollaway Street, Blackwood Street and other nearby streets.
Those with information about the crime should call Crime Stoppers at (805) 494-TALK.
