Fire Damages School in Fountain Valley

FOUNTAIN VALLEY — A second-alarm fire broke out at a middle school Friday evening, causing damage but no injuries, firefighters said.
The fire charred a portion of Kazuo Masuda School in the 17400 block of West Los Jardines, according to investigators. The blaze was reported about 8:30 p.m. and was controlled by about 30 firefighters by 10 p.m., firefighters said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
