Huntington Beach officials have given the green light to the installation of a number of traffic signals around the city in the coming months.
A traffic signal at Center Avenue and 1 Pacific Plaza, near the Huntington Beach Mall, should be operating by April.
A signal at Heil Avenue and Newland Street should be working by May.
A signal at Warner Avenue and Greentree Lane, by a Ralphs supermarket, should be ready sometime this month.
City officials say the new signals will improve traffic flow, as well as make the intersections safer.
