OXNARD : Disabled Man, 42, Is Unhurt in Carjacking
A 42-year-old disabled Oxnard resident was the victim of a carjacking early Tuesday morning, authorities said.
Oxnard police said the victim was parking his car at about 8:15 a.m. on a visit to his doctor’s office when a male juvenile approached him, flashed a knife and demanded his car. The Oxnard man was not injured in the theft, which occurred in the 900 block of West 7th Street, police said.
The suspect apparently allowed the victim to retrieve his walker from the trunk before driving away, authorities said. He is still at large.
