Visitors’ Bureau Picks Chief for Convention Sales

Jim Kissinger has been appointed to vice president for convention sales at the Anaheim-Orange County Visitor & Convention Bureau. He has been with the bureau since 1984 as convention sales director. Previously, Kissinger was with the Doubletree Hotel Corp. for three years in Orange and Monterey, and with Hilton Hotels Corp. for three years.

* Drew Miller has been appointed chief financial officer for Comprehensive Care Corp., a Newport Beach health services organization. He succeeds Fred Follmer, who has left the company. Miller, who had been vice president of corporate development, will also act as interim chief operating officer.

* Todd A. Cooley has joined Maples & Associates, an Irvine public relations and financial communications firm, as senior vice president. He had been a vice president at Fleishman-Hillard and, before that, a senior account executive with Berkhemer & Kline, now Golin-Harris.

* Timothy D. Beck has been appointed manager of the Costa Mesa office of Foster Higgins, an employee benefit consulting firm. Beck joined the Los Angeles office of the company in 1991 after serving as vice president for Warren, McVeigh & Griffin Inc.

* Manfred Gramlich has been selected sales manager for the new German sales office of ATL Products, a subsidiary of Odetics Inc. in Anaheim. Gramlich was previously sales and technical support manager for DDC Pertec, a German tape drive manufacturer. He also worked for NCR in South Africa as group leader of field engineering.
