As delineated by David Mamet, who adapted his Pulitzer Prize-winning play to the screen in 1992, the real estate salesmen who work in this corner of New York City are a ferocious lot--abrasive, abusive and tormented by turns. But when they talk, everybody listens, for Mamet is a true magician with streetwise words. As evidenced here, he’s writer who recognizes the poetry hidden in the most scalding language. “Glengarry†is filled with verbal bravura arias, and under the direction of James Foley, a high-profile cast--including Kevin Spacey and Jack Lemmon (from left) as well as Al Pacino, Alec Baldwin and Ed Harris--go through it flawlessly (TMC Saturday at 1:45 a.m.).
