WOMEN’S BASKETBALL : USC Trounces Arizona State

Tina Thompson scored 18 points and grabbed 13 rebounds Saturday night as 24th-ranked USC routed Arizona State, 91-44. Karleen Shields and Michelle Campbell scored 16 points each for the Trojans, 9-4 and 2-3 in the Pacific 10. Arizona State fell to 7-6, 1-3.

Arizona 64, UCLA 61--Jacinda Sweet, with 17 points, and Adia Barnes, with 16, led four Arizona (8-9, 3-2) players in double figures at Pauley Pavilion. Junior center Kisa Hughes had a game-high 25 points and 11 rebounds for UCLA (7-8, 2-4).
