A Bad Example
Newly elected Ventura County Supervisor Frank Schillo has announced plans to move his Thousand Oaks office to the Civic Arts Center. This move will cost county taxpayers an additional $12,000 annually for rent.
This is the same man who stated a week earlier that “we’ve got to get lean and mean†and take a sharp knife to the county’s budget. I’ll bet the county bureaucrats are quaking in their boots.
Leadership begins by setting the proper example. Please show some leadership, Mr. Schillo.
