Hewlett-Packard Cuts Printer Prices by 25%: Hewlett-Packard Co. said it will cut the price of two popular computer printers to make them more attractive to business users. The company will cut its list price for the DeskJet 1200C printer by $450 to $1,249 and the DeskJet 1200C-PS printer by $480 to $1,999. Both are ink-jet color printers. The company said it expects to see store prices for the DeskJet 1200C and the 1200C-PS printers to be less than $1,000 and $1,600, respectively.
