Walt Disney Co. Eyes Latin Sites: The company is considering building a theme park somewhere in South America early in the next decade, a company executive said. “If we open a park in Latin America, it won’t be in this decade but in the year 2000 and something,” Stephen de Kanter, executive vice president for Latin America of Disney Consumer Products, said at a news conference. The park would be built in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay or Peru, he said.
