VILLA PARK : Holiday ‘Giving Tree’ Helps Needy Children
Residents wishing to help needy children during the holidays are asked to take names from the “Christmas Giving Tree†sponsored by the Villa Park Women’s League.
The tree is at the Villa Park Pharmacy, 17821 Santiago Blvd. Donors are invited to take a child’s name from the tree, register the name with the pharmacy staff and bring a gift-wrapped present for that child to the pharmacy by Dec. 16.
The pharmacy hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
The Villa Park Women’s League, which sponsors the annual charity, obtained the names of the needy children from Casita de San Jose, Orange Children and Parents Together, Canyon Acres Residential Center, Pilgrimage Family Therapy Center and the Rehabilitation Institute of Orange.
