Nestle Buys Irvine Firm’s Satellite System
IRVINE — Satellite Technology Management said Monday it has sold a $1.3-million satellite communications system to Nestle in Mexico.
Mike Lindsay, Satellite Technology’s chief operating officer, said the sale was the largest of a new satellite system, the DAMA 10000, that the company began marketing in the last quarter.
The satellite network will link the phone service of Nestle’s headquarters in Mexico City to all of the company’s operations across the country.
