Chino Hills Ayala 29, Diamond Bar 21--With Ayala trailing, 21-20, junior running back Jimmy Lejay scored on a 37-yard pass play from quarterback Steve Brinbaum to cap a nine play, 74-yard drive to give the Bulldogs (12-1) the lead for good. They play Sherman Oaks Notre Dame in the Division III final.

Brinbaum completed 10 of 19 passes for 215 yards and three touchdowns, and receiver Julius Taino caught six passes for 138 yards and two touchdowns for Ayala.

Diamond Bar (8-4) trailed early, 14-0, but got back into the game on the passing of senior quarterback Eric Stidham, who had two second-quarter touchdown passes, including a 59-yard play to receiver Lathiam Tyler.
