49ers Get a Bye in NCAA Volleyball

Big West Conference champion Long Beach State received a first-round bye in the NCAA Division I women’s volleyball tournament and will play host on Sunday to the winner of the Arkansas State-Montana match.
The 49ers (25-5) will be making their eighth consecutive tournament appearance. They are one of four Big West teams to receive bids. The others are Hawaii, UC Santa Barbara and Pacific.
