Royal 31, Alhambra 13--Royal’s Mike Reddington rushed 16 times for 101 yards and scored on runs of 16, three and three yards at Alhambra. Reddington scored both of Royal’s first-half touchdowns as the Highlanders (8-3) took a 14-13 lead at intermission.

Royal shut out the Moors (9-2) in the second half, holding them to 55 yards.

Wide receiver Ryan Nielson caught a 45-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Wes Lagatta to open the second-half scoring, and Matt Pitstick made a 27-yard field goal later in the third period to give Royal a 24-13 advantage. Reddington’s three-yard scoring run capped the scoring.
