Proposition 187

If France, Germany, Italy and Mexico were to simultaneously decide that they could no longer afford to provide for the education, health and welfare of non-citizens living within its borders, would we as Americans protest?
Of course not; in fact, we might even congratulate them on a fiscally sound and reasonable move.
This shows just how asinine the rest of the world is (with some of our own residents included) to take offense with California’s belated attempt, via Proposition 187, at sane money management and common sense.
