Pacifica Hospital: George Mack has been appointed president and chief executive of the Huntington Beach hospital. Before that, he was administrator of the Desert Valley Medical Group in Apple Valley, the Inland Valley Medical Group in Rancho Cucamonga and the Desert Valley Hospital under a management contract with Quorum Health Resources. Mack has also been interim administrator of the Doheny Eye Institute’s Hospital and Clinic, and president and chief executive of Martin Luther Hospital in Anaheim.
In addition, Barbara Foster has joined the hospital as vice president of patient care. She was previously nurse administrator with Allied Medical Management in West Palm Beach, Fla.
