Woman Shot to Death on Front Porch by 2 Men in Luxury Car
A 19-year-old woman was fatally gunned down on her front porch near Koreatown on Sunday when two men yelling gang slogans from a Lexus fired at her, police said.
Witnesses said the woman was sitting outside on the porch of the house on South Mariposa Avenue when two men in a blue Lexus stopped and yelled gang slogans at her, Los Angeles police Officer Don Cox said.
The man in the back seat of the car opened fire with a handgun, hitting the woman once in the upper body, he said.
The woman was taken to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead, police said.
Her identity was withheld pending notification of relatives.
