MOONLIGHTING AFTER DAYTIME
Look for the multitalented Rosalind Cash, Mary Mae Ward on “General Hospital,†in a guest-starring role in the upcoming Spike Lee feature film “Tales of the Hood†and in the ABC movie of the week called “The Stalker.â€
Another busy actor is Jon Lindstrom, who plays Kevin Collins on “General Hospital.†The actor and his rock band, “Johnny Socko†(the group is named after an old Japanese cartoon character), have signed a recording deal. The CD is slated for release at the end of this year and will contain all original material.

“General Hospital†wishes to belatedly acknowledge viewers who flooded the phone lines after the BJ Jones heart transplant story line last May. According to the National Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network, whose phone number was shown at the end of several episodes of “General Hospital,†more than 11,000 callers requested approximately 25,000 organ donor cards.
Earlier this month, in highly emotional scenes, Bobbie and Tony Jones (Jacklyn Zeman and Brad Maule) came together at BJ’s grave on the date of the child’s birthday. Although estranged in the current “General Hospital†story line, Bobbie and Tony shared memories about BJ.

Students on 13 college campuses will have the opportunity to meet some of their favorite ABC daytime stars during the network’s annual “Soap Up!†The event is held two weeks before homecoming weekend at the various campuses.
At each campus there will be a sweepstakes drawing for a prize of $1,000. A grand-prize winner from all the participating schools will receive a trip for two to New York City or Los Angeles to visit an ABC soap and to have lunch with a daytime star.

Earlier this month, James Reynolds, who plays police commander Abe Carver on “Days of Our Lives,†stepped out of his role to appear as a guest star on an episode of “Seinfeld.†Reynolds, who played a bank manager, had to face Jerry Seinfeld’s grandmother after Jerry tried to cash birthday checks from her that bounced.
