Man Shot 7 Times, Critically Wounded
SANTA ANA — A 41-year-old man was shot seven times Friday in what police called a domestic dispute.
Luis Sanchez Chavez, of Santa Ana, was shot just after 5:30 p.m. in a driveway in the 1300 block of West Civic Center Drive, according to Santa Ana Police Sgt. Dick Faust. He was taken to UCI Medical Center, where he was in critical condition.
Police are looking for an 18-year-old man, whom they have not identified, in connection with the shooting, Faust said.
