SANTA FE SPRINGS : Ban on Fortunetellers Extended for 10 Months
- Share via
The City Council extended a ban on fortunetellers for 10 months to give officials more time to study how seers should be regulated.
The council had approved a 45-day ban in August after Whittier resident Barbara Adams sought to open a fortunetelling business in the city.
Santa Fe Springs has no fortunetellers and they are not covered in city zoning laws. City officials said they were caught off guard and want to study how fortunetellers can affect an area.
