Hilton Hotels Names New Gambling Chief: F.M. (Bud) Celey Jr. will oversee the company’s hotel-casinos in Nevada, riverboat casinos and international casino facilities as president of gaming operations. Celey, 54, who was Hilton’s senior vice president of global gaming operations, fills a position that has been vacant since February, 1993, when John V. Giovenco resigned. Celey will be based in Las Vegas. Hilton President and Chief Executive Raymond C. Avansino Jr. will remain based in Los Angeles.
