SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO : Ganado Drive Is Renamed

There won’t be two streets bearing the name of Ganado anymore.
That’s because the Ganado with a “Drive” affixed to it is being changed to Calle Arroyo.
The City Council approved the name change last week.
Only six residences will be affected by the switch for the 300-foot-long street between La Novia Avenue and Moonglow Lane.
The name change was prompted by some Ganado Drive residents’ complaints that emergency personnel had trouble finding an address there because the city also has a Ganado Road.
