Arkansas Gets a Case of the Blues

The blues will blow into Helena, Ark., Oct. 7-8 for the ninth annual King Biscuit Blues Festival featuring Junior Kimbrough, Robert Jr. Lockwood, Pinetop Perkins and Sam Myers, among others.
More than 50,000 people are expected to pour into the Mississippi River town for the free festival which is named after a Helena institution, the “King Biscuit Time” blues radio show.
