Chaffey Stops Antelope Valley

ALTA LOMA — Zach Brennan threw touchdown passes of 12 yards to Lucas Thompson and eight yards to Bryce Erickson to lead host Chaffey College to a 19-6 victory over Antelope Valley in a Foothill Conference opener Saturday night.
Marauder quarterback Michael Gleich was sacked six times for 20 yards and completed 10 of 20 passes for 160 yards.
The Marauders (0-3) were held to 25 rushing yards in 36 carries, and top back Roosevelt Miller carried 16 times for 18 yards.
Antelope Valley scored when Gleich hooked up with wide receiver Jason Craft on a 34-yard play in the third quarter. Troy Searcy’s 60-yard kickoff return to the Chaffey 36 set up the touchdown.
