Moorpark 35, Rosamond 24 Tailback Bryan Wilkins rushed a school-record 40 times for 242 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Musketeers (3-0) at Rosamond.
Wilkins, who had 66 yards in 16 carries and touchdowns of one and five yards by halftime, added another 109 yards in 17 carries in the third period. The senior was removed with 8:19 to play after scoring again on a pair of one-yard runs.
Quarterback Bryan Paul completed six of 14 for 105 yards, including a 41-yard strike to Tyler Dritz with 37 seconds left in the first half to give Moorpark a 21-12 advantage.
Moorpark’s Jose Ceja recovered two fumbles and deflected a pass that led to an interception by Dritz.
