SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO : Latin-Jazz Band to Perform Tonight

Latin-jazz conga player and percussionist Poncho Sanchez and his nine-member band will perform two shows tonight in the courtyard of the San Juan Capistrano Library.
His shows are set for 7 and 9 p.m. and are part of the San Juan Multicultural Performing and Visual Arts Series.
Sanchez, born in Laredo, Tex., to Mexican parents, grew up in Norwalk.
His 1990 release “Bien Sabroso!” was nominated for a Grammy.
Sanchez and his band have performed around the world and on national television.
The San Juan Capistrano library is at 31495 El Camino Real. Outdoor seating is limited. Those attending the concert may bring lawn chairs. Admission is $5.
