ALISO VIEJO : Aliso Niguel High to Be Dedicated Today
- Share via
Capistrano Unified School District officials today plan to dedicate Aliso Niguel High School.
The dedication comes more than a year after the $50-million campus opened its doors.
Because of construction delays caused by rainstorms, the school was forced to open last fall despite being only half built.
The facility has been touted as a “school of the 21st Century.”
The dedication ceremony begins at 1 p.m. in the school theater. There will also be tours and food and beverages in the school stadium.
A 6 p.m. concert will feature the Drifters and the Coasters. Tickets are $3 for adults and $1 for children 12 and younger.
Proceeds from the concert will benefit the Aliso Niguel High School Parent-Teacher-Student Assn. The school is at 28000 Terrace View Drive, in Aliso Viejo.
