Thurmond Is Hospitalized

WASHINGTON — Sen. Strom Thurmond (R-S.C.), the nation’s oldest senator, was in the hospital Tuesday after complaining of lightheadedness Monday, a spokeswoman said. She said tests indicated no problem and Thurmond, 91, is feeling fine.
