Eagle Rock 31, Poly 6--Eagle Rock tailback Trennel Young rushed for 103 yards and 20 carries and scored two touchdowns to lead the Eagles at Poly.
Eagle Rock led, 24-0, before Poly scored its only points in the third quarter on a 52-yard pass play from quarterback Ricardo Gamboa to wide receiver Jaime Cerna. Gamboa completed 13 of 24 passes for 212 yards and a touchdown.
Cerna caught seven passes for 166 yards, and Leaford Hackett had six catches for 46 yards.
The Parrots (0-2) were held to minus-47 yards rushing.
The officials ended the game with 2:49 remaining after several unsportsmanlike conduct penalties were called against both teams.
