SYNOPSIS: Phil Cruz gained 115 yards in 18 carries and scored four touchdowns tolead the Griffins (2-0) over Washington (0-2) at Cerritos College.

SYNOPSIS: Scott Spruill completed 13 of 24 passes for 289 yards and three touchdowns as Westlake (2-0) rolled up 540 yards of offense at Ventura (0-2).

SYNOPSIS: Mike Ellison gained 115 yards in 13 carries and scored three touchdowns in the first half, then sat out the second half as the Cubs (2-0) won at Canyon (0-2).

SYNOPSIS: Junior Michael Graham scored two touchdowns and rushed for 107 yards in 16 carries to lead the Chargers (2-0) over the Colts (1-1) at Charter Oak.

SYNOPSIS: Willie Laffitte threw a 22-yard touchdown pass to Darnell Martin with 11 seconds to play to lift the Toilers (1-1) to an upset of the Dons (1-1) at Manual Arts.

SYNOPSIS: Courtney Blunt scored on a one-yard run in the fourth quarter to lead the Braves (2-0) over the Warriors (0-2) at Birmingham.

SYNOPSIS: Westchester quarterbacks Brennan Crooks and Damion Ward teamed for 300 passing yards and two touchdowns each for the Comets (1-1) at San Fernando.

SYNOPSIS: Wilson stopped Quincy Brooks on a two-point conversion attempt in the final minute of the game to thwart the Vikings (0-2) at Wilson (2-0).
