Outlook: Last season, El Toro won its fifth section title in six years and extended its playoff winning streak to 22 games since 1988, but the Chargers have lost 14 seniors and all but one starter to graduation. Even so, they are bound to be competitive; they won two summer tournaments, including the prestigious competition in Hawaii. “I’m very pleased with the improvement of the team,” Stoll said. “I don’t want to say too much because I’ll get people fired up.” The Chargers’ move back to the Sea View League after a 10-year absence instantly turns it into the county’s toughest.
