If Orange County is a bastion of conservative Republicanism, then tiny Villa Park is the heart of the fort. It has the largest percentage of registered Republicans in the county.
In general, coastal and South County cities tend to be more Republican while central and northwest county cities tend to be more Democraic.
Here are the five most heavily Republican and Democratic cities in the county:

The public is invited to a Human Affairs Forum today in San Clemente.
The forum is a chance for government officials, nonprofit groups, service clubs and residents to discuss community assistance programs, such as shelters for families and women.
The meeting, which will include a presentation by the Ecumenical Service Alliance, starts at 3 p.m. at the Ole Hanson Room of the San Clemente Community Center, 100 N. Calle Seville.
