FULLERTON : 3-Year-Old Hit While Crossing Street, Dies

A 3-year-old Fullerton boy died early Sunday after being hit by a car in the 500 block of south Lemon Street, police said.
Jonathan Nichitean was pronounced dead at UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange just after midnight after suffering major injuries when he was hit by a car while crossing the street at about 4:30 p.m., police said.
The driver of the car that hit the boy, Benjamin Rojas Gutierez, 27, of Fullerton, was not injured, and the incident remains under investigation, police said.
