64 Indicted in Cocaine Distribution Operation

NEW YORK — Sixty-four people were indicted in a cocaine processing and distribution scheme that spanned 10 years and brought in more than $50 million a year, authorities said Friday.
A grand jury shut down the operation, handing up drug, weapon and murder charges against alleged gang members who operated “La Compania,” or The Company, out of seven buildings in upper Manhattan.
