HUNTINGTON BEACH : 6 Spots Available on 3 Municipal Boards

The city is seeking volunteers to serve on three municipal boards.
There is one vacancy on the Human Resources Board, which serves to enhance communication and coordination among the various agencies, organizations and individuals that provide human services to residents.
The Fourth of July Board has four open positions. The board is responsible for raising money and coordinating the city’s annual Fourth of July parade and related festivities.
The Finance Board has one vacancy. The board reviews and makes recommendations regarding fiscal policies, annual financial audit, debt management and other financial issues.
Persons applying to serve on the board should have extensive financial experience or have a serious interest in municipal budgets. The City Council will make the appointment Oct. 3. Applications are available by calling Pat Jones at (714) 536-5203.
