Paine Gets Shuttle by United Contract

United Airlines has chosen Paine & Associates to handle public relations for the launch of its new service, Shuttle by United.
Shuttle by United is set to offer low fares and frequent daily departures for short trips between West Coast cities. Service between San Francisco, Los Angeles, Oakland, Las Vegas, Seattle, Ontario, Burbank, San Diego and Sacramento is scheduled to start on Oct. 1, and will begin with 184 daily departures. By year’s end, Shuttle by United expects to expand its operations to five additional West Coast cities and will add to the number of scheduled departures.
Terms of the deal were not released, but competitors estimated Paine & Associates would earn less than $200,000 on the public relations contract.
Paine & Associates, established in 1986, is Orange County’s largest public relations firm.
