A Crushing Expedition
Travelers interested in watching the harvesting and crushing of this year’s grape crops in the Sonoma Valley should go soon, growers say. It could all be over in three or four weeks if the heat continues.
Visitors may watch the crush at many wineries but should call ahead to find out when the grapes are coming in. For a harvest calendar and visitor’s guide, contact the Sonoma Valley Visitors Bureau, (707) 996-1090.
