FULLERTON : Reading Club for Children Planned
- Share via
A reading club for preschool children will begin at the Fullerton Library on Sept. 13.
The free “Hungry Caterpillar Club” will meet Tuesdays at 11:15 a.m. at Hunt Branch Library, 201 S. Basque Ave., and Wednesdays at 11:15 a.m. and Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. at the Main Library, 353 W. Commonwealth Ave.
The club’s name comes from the children’s book “The Very Hungry Caterpillar,” by Eric Carle. The book celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, library officials said.
Club members will be treated to puppet shows, songs, craft activities, films and readings of picture books, poems, nursery rhymes and folklore.
Registration is required and children may sign up for the club at either of the participating libraries. For more information, call (714) 738-3121.
