Biomerica Inc.: The medical diagnostic products maker Thursday restated results for its latest fiscal year.
The company, based in Newport Beach, said it earned $56,491, rather than having the previously reported loss of $82,253. The company said the revision was because of an accounting change.
The change means that, for the fiscal year ended May 31, the company’s shareholders earned 1 cent a share. For the previous fiscal year, Biomerica reported a loss of $435,244.
