Broadcast Edit Sold to Affinity Teleproduction

LOS ALAMITOS — Broadcast Edit Inc. has been purchased by Affinity Teleproduction Inc. of Boca Raton, Fla., for a combination of stock and cash, the companies announced Thursday. They did not disclose the value of the deal.

Privately held Broadcast Edit, based in Los Alamitos, has been in business for more than six years providing directing and editing services to producers of television programming.

Affinity Teleproduction officials said Broadcast Edit President James Wehrly and Vice President Brian Lockwood, both of whom are founders of the company, will continue in their current positions.
