WESTMINSTER : Robber Flees With Cash From Bank

A robber escaped about 9:50 a.m. Monday with an undisclosed amount of money from the Household Bank branch in the 14000 block of Beach Boulevard.
The robber demanded money with a note warning that armed accomplices were backing him up, Police Lt. Richard Main said. He said the man, who police believe acted alone, escaped on foot through the bank parking lot.
The exact amount of the loss was not known Monday afternoon, but Main said it was “not a substantial amount.”
Bank officials declined to comment.
