Sue’s Socialites, a group that organizes activities for the disabled, needs donations to continue its monthly gatherings.
The nonprofit group meets for barbecues, beach parties and other events but is hindered by a lack of funds for transportation, according to founder and organizer Sue Gordon.
“We would like to continue to do this, but it is impossible without any transportation available for us,” Gordon said.
