FULLERTON : Park’s Swim Meet for Children Is Friday

Independence Park will have its annual “Splash ‘n’ Dash Swim Meet” Friday for children age 5 to 14.
Inner tube and freestyle races will be featured, with participants divided into age groups. Winners will receive ribbons and all participants will receive McDonald’s gift certificates and T-shirts.
The city’s Community Services Department, Police Athletic League and McDonald’s are sponsoring this year’s event, which takes place from 1:30 to 6 p.m.
Those who want to participate are asked to register at City Hall from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday.
